From hands-on experiments to confident explanations, our students are blending science and speaking skills in an incredible learning experience.

This week, our young performers teamed up with the talented seniors from the Ada Varsity Singers to learn a dance break for the show. 💃🕺 Their collaboration, energy, and teamwork are shining bright as they bring this musical to life!

Our Ada Robotics team competed this weekend in Bellefontaine and delivered a strong performance! The team went 3–3 in qualifying matches, advanced to the finals, and finished 23rd out of 45 teams—an awesome showing in a competitive field!

Lt. Governor Tressel brought incredible energy and motivation to our 4th–8th graders, encouraging them to reach their goals. The challenge helps students build lifelong habits around fitness, healthy eating, and sleep and lays the foundation for a brighter future by improving students physical and mental health.

Our students are working their way through the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge, a new 90-day wellness initiative for grades 4–8! Today, they’ll attend a special assembly to stay motivated and celebrate their progress so far. 🎉

Honoring Our Veterans at Ada Schools❤️🤍💙
This morning, Ada Schools was honored to continue our beautiful Veterans Day tradition of hosting a breakfast to recognize and thank those who have served our country. Over 50 veterans and guests joined us for this special event.
The program featured guest speaker Dave Lusk, a moving performance of Taps by Justin Bowden, and heartfelt thank-you cards created by our 6th–8th grade students. The cafeteria was beautifully decorated with patriotic artwork from Mrs. Winklejohn’s art classes, adding a meaningful touch to the celebration.
We are deeply grateful to all the veterans who joined us and to the staff and volunteers who helped make this event possible. It was truly a special way to honor the bravest and truest of Americans.

Ada Elementary Gifted Teacher, Mrs. Sarah Perkins, applied for the grant with the Project Title: CREATE Bulldog Explorers Designing Our Future! Our 3rd–6th graders in CREATE will dive into exciting, hands-on STREAM adventures such as building animal adaptations, math mazes, exploring ocean ecosystems, designing solutions to real-world oceanic problems, coding through outer space on terrestrial planets, and traveling through time to study and recreate famous ancient architecture!
A total of 165 public schools, including Ada Elementary School, have been recognized with this prestigious award. The program has impacted students across 130 of Ohio’s school districts, spanning 68 counties.
