To celebrate the end of a successful first quarter, our staff enjoyed a Staff Appreciation Luncheon last week!
This was a small way to say thank you for the incredible dedication, hard work, and heart our staff bring to Ada Schools every day. Everyone gathered for great food, good company, and a well-deserved break — with a meal prepared by our principals and superintendent! 👨🍳👩🍳
We appreciate all that our staff do to make Ada Schools such a special place to learn and grow. 💛🖤

After seeing the ODOT plows our students have painted the past couple of years, Brad Hays from Liberty Township reached out to see if we’d be willing to design and paint one of their plows this year—and our artists were happy to roll up their sleeves! 🖌️
Check out these photos of the students in action and the finished Liberty Township plow, proudly showcasing their Bulldog creativity and community spirit. 💛🖤

Millions of children ride the bus every day — and it’s everyone’s responsibility to help keep them safe. In Ohio, the Stop Means Stop campaign was launched in 2024 following recommendations from Governor Mike DeWine’s School Bus Safety Working Group to help prevent illegal school bus passing and protect students at the bus stop.
When those red lights flash and the stop arm is extended — STOP. It’s not just the law — it’s about protecting our kids. 💛
Check out these safety reminders and share to spread the message! 🖤💛

🍂 Feeling the October dip? You’re not alone! As routines settle in and the days get shorter, our school social worker, Mrs. Badertscher, reminds us how important it is to take small micro-moments throughout the day to reset and recharge.
A few deep breaths, a quick stretch, or a short walk can make a big difference in focus and emotional balance. Check out this article https://www.ada.k12.oh.us/article/2494627 for more! Let’s take those mindful moments to keep our Bulldogs feeling their best! 💛🖤 #AdaBulldogs #BulldogWellness

Mrs. Wissman’s kindergarten class has been delighted by special surprise visits from Mystery Readers! For the last three weeks, a staff member from our building has brought their favorite book to share — but the students don’t know who it will be until the door opens! 👀
The excitement builds as clues are read and the class tries to guess who might be visiting. So far, Mrs. Fries (Speech Pathologist), Mrs. Dearth (Occupational Therapist), and Mrs. Heacock (School Nurse) have all stopped by with great stories — and perfect clues that helped the kiddos solve the mystery! 💛
These visits not only spark a love for reading, but also help our youngest learners build connections with staff throughout the school. What a fun way to share stories, smiles, and the joy of books! 🐾❤️ #AdaBulldogs #BulldogPride

This week, we’re recognizing School Bus Safety Week — a time to celebrate our dedicated bus drivers and remind everyone of the importance of staying safe on and around the bus! 🚦
Our Bulldog drivers work hard every day to make sure students arrive safely to and from school, field trips, and events. 💛 Let’s all do our part by practicing safe habits — watching for stop arms, staying seated, and being alert when buses are on the road.
