Ada Exempted Village Schools is proud to announce the 2026 Ada High School Hall of Honor Reception, celebrating excellence, service, and Bulldog pride. This year’s reception will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 4:30 PM in the Ada Schools’ Cafeteria. Following the reception we invite everyone to cheer on the Bulldogs as the Boys Basketball team takes on Delphos. The community is warmly invited to attend and help recognize the outstanding achievements of this year’s honorees.
The Ada High School Hall of Honor was established to acknowledge graduates and non-graduates who have demonstrated exceptional service, leadership, or loyalty to Ada Schools or in their chosen field. Each year, no more than two individuals are selected.

Students participated in the final Bulldog Connect meeting of the calendar year last week! Ada 6th graders had a powerful and meaningful experience as they continued their Thursday visits to Vancrest, generously volunteering their time to connect with residents. 💛
From playing games and making crafts to sharing stories and laughter, these moments created lasting memories and friendships across generations. We are incredibly proud of our students for demonstrating Bulldog kindness, compassion, and a true dedication to our community.

Miss Jones’ 5th grade class recently took time to read to and with Mrs. Jones’ 2nd grade class, creating a meaningful cross-grade collaboration that was both special and impactful for everyone involved. 📚✨
This moment was even more heartwarming as it connected family ties—Miss Jones is following in her mother’s footsteps by teaching at Ada. Seeing students and staff come together in this way truly highlights the strong sense of family and tradition within our Bulldog community.

💜🐾 Cross-Grade Collaboration at Its Best! 🐾💛
This week, our Bulldogs showed just how powerful teamwork can be across grade levels!
Mr. Crawford’s high school students kicked things off by cutting 65 wooden boards, and Mr. Wells’ students followed by staining every single one a rich brown. Then, Mrs. Winkeljohn’s 8th-period students teamed up with our kindergarteners to bring the boards to life with bright, creative paint!
It was a fantastic project that connected our oldest and youngest learners—and everyone did an amazing job. We love seeing our students learn, lead, and create together! 💛💜

Our Ada FFA Officers are each tasked with creating and implementing a passion project—a meaningful initiative designed to help others, solve a problem, or bring positive change to our community.
This month, we’re excited to highlight Sophomore Layla Fisher, who is gearing up to launch her project! From December 8–12, Layla will be collecting new or gently used books for students in Grades K–5.
Her goal?
✨ Collect new and gently used books and wrap them
✨ Deliver one to every Ada Elementary student before Christmas break!
If you have books you’d like to donate, please send them in! We are also gratefully accepting cash donations to help purchase additional new books.

🎄 Ada Schools’ 32nd Annual Christmas Luncheon – A Heartwarming Success! 🎄
We were so excited to welcome our senior community members back for one of our favorite holiday traditions! Attendees joined for an afternoon filled with good food, fellowship, and festive cheer.
Guests enjoyed a delicious lunch followed by a beautiful performance from the Ada Varsity Singers—a highlight every year! And to make the day even more magical, Santa made a special surprise visit, bringing smiles all around. 🎅✨
We were thrilled with the wonderful turnout and want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, to the staff who organized and facilitated the event, and to our amazing student volunteers and performers who helped the afternoon run smoothly.
