In Mrs. Alexander’s class, students took part in a reading incentive program from the Fort Wayne TinCaps (thanks to Dr. Devier for finding this opportunity!). Over four weeks, each student committed to reading 100 minutes per week outside of school—and their hard work paid off!
Along the way, students earned prizes (thank you to our amazing Ada Academic Boosters!), and in the end, 40 students qualified for the reward. Of those, 23 students attended the game and enjoyed lunch together. The Bulldogs had an unforgettable time—catching baseballs tossed by players and making memories to last a lifetime! One highlight was Braden snagging a ball with his Wilson glove—definitely picture-worthy!
Thank you again to the Academic Boosters and Dr. Devier for helping make this opportunity possible. What a win for our students!

Students in Styer’s Seventh Grade World History class recently brought history to life by designing and building their very own castles. From towering walls and detailed battlements to creative layouts and unique defenses, each project showcased both their understanding of medieval times and their creativity.
Students had two months to research, design, and build their own castles, with labels showing at least six of the twelve main parts of a castle—an impressive display of both knowledge and craftsmanship!

We’d like to give a big shout-out of gratitude to Cory-Rawson High School for spreading kindness in our community!
As part of their annual Community Day on Friday, April 24th, Cory-Rawson students once again went beyond their own district to uplift others. A group of students visited Ada Schools and left small motivational notes on cars in our parking lot—a simple yet meaningful gesture that truly brightened our day.
We are so grateful for their thoughtfulness and their commitment to making a positive impact. It’s inspiring to see students leading with kindness and connection. Thank you, Cory-Rawson, for sharing some good with us!

We’re proud to share that the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce has once again recognized Ada High School with the Purple Star designation—and for the very first time, Ada Elementary has also earned this distinction!
This award reflects our ongoing dedication to supporting military-connected students and their families, particularly during times of transition, deployment, and change. To receive this recognition, schools must meet rigorous standards established by Ohio’s Purple Star Advisory Board. Earning the Purple Star designation demonstrates a strong, year-round commitment to creating a supportive and responsive environment for those who serve our country.

Our Anatomy & Physiology students recently had an incredible hands-on learning experience at Ohio Northern University during a Science Workshop Day!
Students began their visit with a walk through the university’s greenhouse before diving into three engaging lab rotations led by ONU faculty. These included a forensics lab featuring fingerprinting, a genetics lab exploring fruit fly mutations, and a cadaver lab—providing a unique, real-world look at the human body they’ve been studying all year.
It was a valuable day of exploration and discovery, and our students walked away with a deeper appreciation for the outstanding science programs offered at ONU.
