Mrs. Bleu is helping students head into summer with creativity, curiosity, and plenty of screen-free fun! Last week, Mrs. Bleu visited each K-5 classroom to present her Summer Edition Guidance Newsletter focus lesson centered on screen-free summer activities. Download a copy of the Bingo here.
During her classroom visits, students received a special summer Bingo card filled with engaging activities along with writing prompts they can complete throughout the break. The goal is to encourage students to explore new experiences, use their imagination, stay active, and enjoy meaningful play away from screens.
Mrs. Bleu shared with students how participating in a variety of screen-free activities can help them continue learning and growing during the summer months while also building creativity, independence, and social skills.
To make the challenge even more exciting, students who complete five activities in a row — or even the entire Bingo board — and return it in August will earn special prizes!
