Ada High School to Honor Military Alumni with New “Wall of Honor”
In a collaborative effort between Ada Exempted Village School and the Ada VFW, the community is proud to announce the creation of the Ada High School Military Wall of Honor. This special tribute will pay homage to Ada High School graduates who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces, including the Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserves. The recognition extends to those who have enlisted, commissioned as officers, or served in the National Guard or Reserves.
The Military Wall of Honor will serve as a lasting exhibit within Ada High School, standing as a testament to the courage and dedication of Ada alumni who answered the call to protect the freedoms we cherish. This initiative is a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our service members, and it will inspire future generations to appreciate and value the commitment of those who serve in uniform.
Ada’s Legacy of Service
Many from Ada have proudly answered the call to serve their country, continuing a long tradition of military service within our community. From deployments overseas to supporting efforts at home, Ada's military alumni have upheld the values of courage, selflessness, and duty.
“We are incredibly proud of our graduates who have served or are currently serving in the military,” said Julie Simmons Ada Exempted Village School superintendent. “This Wall of Honor will serve as a constant reminder of their bravery and our gratitude as a community.”
