The CDC and the Ohio Department of Health have instituted new protocols for isolation and quarantines.  As a result, we will be revising our protocols to align with these recommendations. The new protocols are as follows:

A student or staff member who has tested positive for COVID and is asymptomatic after five (5) days will be allowed to return to school as long as that student/staff member continues to wear a mask for up to five (5 days) after their return.  Students will be required to check in with the nurse daily during the masking period.

A student or staff member who has tested positive for COVID and chooses not to wear a mask, will be allowed to return to school after ten (10) days and must be asymptomatic upon return.

A student or staff member who is unvaccinated and lives in the same household as a positive test case may return to school after 5 days, if they are asymptomatic and mask for up to five (5) days after their return.  Students will be required to check in with the nurse daily during the masking period.

A student or staff member who has been exposed to COVID and is vaccinated or has had COVID within the past 90 days may continue to attend school as long as they are asymptomatic.
